Dr. Steve Foster - Veterinarian & Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist

Dr. Steve Foster graduated from Concord High School in 1978, attended NCSU from 1978-1981, was accepted one year early to Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine, and graduated with his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1985.

Upon graduation, Dr. Steve went into practice with his father at Foster Animal Hospital. The practice has grown and has transitioned from being a mixed animal to a small animal only facility. Throughout the last 33 years, Dr. Steve has enjoyed all aspects of veterinary medicine, as well as learning the business of running a veterinary practice. He especially enjoys getting to know his clients and patients on a personal level. Dr. Steve is a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist (CCRT). He became certified to help animals recover faster from injury and surgery, as well as, to help the geriatric population deal with degenerative arthritis. The results have been amazing, even to Dr. Steve!

Dr. Steve's hobbies and outside interests include family time, golf, college football and basketball, and traveling. He and his family log many hours road-tripping to Auburn for football games and to Raleigh for football and basketball games. In the rest of his spare time, he most likely can be found on the links or hiking a trail somewhere.
